Apr. 16--LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Trying to reinvent itself as a progressive, hip place to live, this city hard by the Ohio River has put together a package worth more than $300 million for any NBA team ready to relocate.
That all-encompassing offer includes the Orlando Magic, embroiled in harsh negotiations over building a new $250 million basketball court largely with tax dollars.
"If Orlando is willing to move, we would be more than willing to provide an arena," said Ed Glasscock, a prominent attorney heavily involved in Louisville's National Basketball Association drive.
