New York-Based Advertising Agency Changes Name of Seattle Office.

Apr. 20--McCann-Erickson is one of the most prominent names in the advertising world. The New York-based ad agency has been around for about 100 years and is a unit of the Interpublic Group, a marketing and advertising behemoth with 48,200 employees that did $5.6 billion in business last year.
So why is the McCann-Erickson Seattle office, whose clients include Washington Mutual, REI, Microsoft and Experience Music Project, changing its name?
Monday, it officially becomes Sedgwick Rd. as part of a move to remake the local office into a smaller, nimbler agency reflecting West Coast values, said its president, Jim Walker.
