Dallas Area Agog over Arrival of Boeing Officials.

Apr. 25--Boeing Co. proved Tuesday that its knowledge of stealth aircraft can easily be extended to stealth relocations.

Poker-faced Boeing executives uttered nary a peep about their preferences for a new headquarters. All that's sure is that Boeing wants out of Seattle and has short-listed Chicago, Denver and Dallas-Fort Worth for a new corporate home.

What Boeing didn't and couldn't hide was that it was in Dallas-Fort Worth, checking to see whether the place measured up. And that became a covert operation worthy of a short chapter in a John Le Carre novel.
