Delta Air Lines Parent Company to Resume Talks with Striking Pilots.

Apr. 25--A full month after a pilots strike shut down all of Comair's flights, negotiators for the airline and its pilots union will resume contract talks today.

This week's three-day negotiating session brings the first glimmer of hope for an end to the crippling walkout.

"We're going to go back, and we're going to put forward a very good effort," Comair spokesman Nick Miller said.

The negotiations come just three days after Delta Air Lines, Comair's parent company, reached a tentative deal with the Air Line Pilots Association that averted a strike at the nation's No. 3 carrier.
