Oklahoma-Based Pre-Paid Legal Services Goes through Rough Times.

Apr. 29--Frank Jaques has a filing cabinet full of documents that trace back to Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc.'s earliest days.
He remembers when the company was first Sportsmen's Motor Club, then Professional Motor Service Club and finally Pre-Paid Legal -- and how it battled to stay afloat as all three. The veteran Ada attorney is a co-founder of the company and has remained one of its largest shareholders. He has sold all his Pre-Paid shares except a token 10, which he will keep until he dies.
