Inventor Speaks in Philadelphia about High School Robotics Competition.

May 9--When inventor and entrepreneur Dean Kamen came to Philadelphia last week to collect an award from Drexel University, he was eager to talk about the high school robotics competition he founded 10 years ago.
He willingly discussed the process of invention, the clinical trials under way for his motorized wheelchair that climbs stairs, and his efforts to produce a nonpolluting engine.
Just don't ask him about "IT," the top-secret project the tech community has been buzzing about for months.
"I don't say anything about IT. I don't talk about IT," Kamen said firmly during an interview. "I hope, in the end, the nonsense about IT just goes away."...
