Hershey Foods Names New Vice President for Business Planning.

May 18--Hershey Foods Corp. Thursday named David J. West to the newly created position of vice president in charge of business planning and development.
West, 38, is responsible for corporate strategy and planning, business development and special projects.
West worked 14 years at Nabisco Holdings Corp. in a variety of positions in the areas of strategic planning, finance and business development. He most recently was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Nabisco Biscuit and Snacks Group.
Before joining Nabisco, West held executive positions in finance and accounting with Wearever Procter-Silex and Unisys.
