May 31--FORT WORTH, Texas--RadioShack's stock price fell more than 18 percent Wednesday, a day after the company said it will miss second-quarter earnings projections.
The stock lost $5.92 a share from Tuesday's closing, dropping to $26.93 Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange. The decline began Tuesday night, when the stock lost $3.79 in after-hours trading.
RadioShack lowered its earnings forecast to 25 to 27 cents a share in the quarter ending June 30, down from estimates of 34 cents a share made a little more than a month ago. The company said per-share profits may be off by 10 percent for the year because of sagging sales.
