Dean Appointee Gives Up Position at Conway, S.C., Business School.

Jun. 5-- Aaron Kelley has decided not to become dean of Coastal Carolina University's business school, citing personal problems as the reason for turning down a job he accepted two months ago.

Kelley was selected in April from a nationwide pool of 65 candidates to become dean of the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration. Kelley withdrew his acceptance of that job Monday, according to a news release from CCU.

Ronald Ingle, CCU's president, refused to comment on Kelley's decision other than to say the search for a new dean "is an institutional priority at this time."

Kelley, 53, could not be reached for comment.
