Jun. 9--To understand one of the most chaotic industries on the planet, ask Firoz Lalji if he's ever known glory only to have it immediately snatched from his grasp.

"Actually, it happens just about every week," Lalji said with a laugh.

That may be an exaggeration, but just a slight one. As it tries to find an identity in the ruthlessly competitive world of computer retail, Lalji's 700-person company in Renton has had to shift gears quickly to survive.
