Delta Air Lines Warns Investors of Big Loss on Horizon.

Jun. 16--Delta Air Lines expects to lose up to $160 million in the current quarter, the carrier warned investors Friday.

Orlando's dominant airline blamed its woes on the nation's weak economy and on a pilot strike that grounded all flights at its Comair subsidiary for almost three months.

The announcement came a day after Comair and its pilots union reached a tentative deal that could put its jets back in the air this summer.

Pilots at Comair's Cincinnati hub will study that proposed contract at a briefing Tuesday, and Orlando pilots will get a look on Wednesday before voting on the agreement later in the week. The union likely will unveil a final...
