Colorado Cable TV Magnate Blazes New Trail: Cyber Education.

Jun. 18--When Glenn Jones dreams, things happen. And right now the rags-to-riches 71-year-old is dreaming about making Colorado the cyber-education capital of the world.
"It's doable, and it's doable now," says plain-talking Jones, founder of Jones Intercable. "We can light up an education renaissance in Colorado."
He said he envisions a day in which people from all walks of life can earn college and high school degrees from the comfort of home.
"If you're left out of the education system, you're left out of the economic system," Jones says. "We can give people a better chance for equal education. Colorado can be the Athens of the new century."
