Congress Intensifies Efforts To Decrease Flight Delays, Cancellations.

Jun. 21--WASHINGTON--As part of a continuing effort to fix problems with airline customer service, Congress stepped up efforts Wednesday to decrease the number of flight delays and cancellations.

Some members of the House Subcommittee on Aviation grilled industry CEOs and representatives after a report Wednesday found that the airlines failed to address the "most deep-seated, underlying cause" of customer dissatisfaction -- flight delays and cancellations.
