National Labor Board Orders Seymour, Ind., Firm to Reinstate Fired Employee.

Jun. 27--A Seymour man was unlawfully fired because of his union-organizing activities and must be offered reinstatement to his factory job, the National Labor Relations Board has ruled.

The ruling orders Valeo Sylvania, an affiliate of the French-based Valeo automotive supply company, to offer reinstatement and provide back pay to Ronald Roy, who led unsuccessful union-organizing activities at the company's Seymour plant in 1999.

The national board's decision, issued recently in Washington, D.C., upholds an earlier ruling by an administrative law judge.
