Trump Is Planning Ritzy Condos, Hotel for Chicago Newspaper Site.

Jul. 14--Donald Trump is negotiating to acquire the Chicago Sun-Times building, with plans to build a huge mixed-use complex on the prominent Chicago riverfront site.
Although many details of the agreement must still be worked out, Trump and executives with the Sun-Times' parent company, Hollinger International Inc., have agreed on a hefty price of $77 million for the 43-year-old structure, real estate industry sources said.
If an agreement is reached, the seven-story building at 401 N. Wabash Ave. would be demolished sometime next year to make way for a massive development that would likely include ritzy condos, a luxury hotel and possibly new headquarters space...
