Woolworths Retail Chain to Start Public Relations Campaign in London.

Jul. 18--Woolworths chairman Gerald Corbett is gearing up for a charm offensive among City institutions ahead of the flotation of the retail chain next month.

Credit Suisse First Boston and UBS Warburg, who are the brokers to Woolies" parent Kingfisher, plan to issue upbeat research notes on the business today.

They are expected to value the 800- store chain at UKpound 400 million-UKpound 450 million and urge investors to buy the recovery story.

Broker SG, close to King-fisher's French institutional shareholders, will also issue a note.
