Profit Up at Dallas-Based Perot and Affiliated Computer Services.

Aug. 1--Two Dallas technology services companies reported year-to-year double-digit earnings growth Tuesday on the strength of new contract signings and acquisitions.
Affiliated Computer Services Inc. said profits rose 22 percent while Perot Systems Corp. reported a 25 percent boost.
Earnings at Perot Systems were $16.5 million (15 cents) compared with $13.1 million (12 cents) last year. Analysts' average earnings estimate was 14 cents a share.
Revenue was $291.3 million compared with $268.5 million, an 8 percent increase.
