Steel Company Almost Finished with Expansion of Chattanooga, Tenn., Center.

Aug. 5--O'Neal Steel has finished the largest expansion to its Chattanooga service center in three decades to meet existing business and position the plant when the sluggish economy fires back up.

"I'm looking for the fourth quarter to pick up quite a bit," said Bill Sylvester, the company's district manager.

The $2.5 million addition, about 27,000 square feet in size, shows the company's confidence in the Chattanooga market, said Mr. Sylvester.

"We're profitable now. We'll certainly be more profitable," he said.
