Aug. 16--David Skerpon, a former executive at Commerce Bank Harrisburg and Mellon Bank, has been named president of Credit Plus Solutions.
Skerpon, 40, was vice president at Commerce Bank for a year before accepting the top job at Credit Plus. He started there yesterday.
Prior to joining Commerce, Skerpon worked at Mellon for 14 years, the last three as president of the bank's central Pennsylvania operations.
"Going from being president of the region to vice president was an adjustment," Skerpon said of his move from Mellon to Commerce. He said he was not recruited by Credit Plus.
