Postal Service's Move Prompts Thief River Falls, Minn., Public Meeting.

Aug. 27--THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn.--Minnesota U.S. Sen. Mark Dayton's state director, Jim Gelbmann, will be at a town meeting here today to hear the public's opinions on the U.S. Postal Service's decision to move mail-sorting operations from Thief River Falls to Grand Forks.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln High School Auditorium, 101 S. Knight Ave.
Sen. Dayton said there are growing concerns that the move has harmed the reliability of daily mail service for Thief River and surrounding areas. Citizens, business owners and local officials are encouraged to attend.
