Thai Publishing Company to Boost Income.

Sep. 6--Amarin Printing and Publishing Plc says the expansion of its printing house, the launch of the Thai-edition National Geographic and the expansion of its Nai-In bookstore chain will increase its net profit by at least 10 percent next year.

"We're consolidating for steady growth. Following the economic crisis, the publishing business seems to have better prospects as more people are reading books," said vice-president Metta Utakapan.

Expansion of the firm's printing plant at Taling Chan, Thon Buri, is scheduled to be completed next year, with five new presses. The 500-million-baht project will increase Amarin's printing capacity by 70 percent ,...
