Amsterdam, N.Y., Hospital Votes Out Management Firm.

Sep. 6--Amsterdam Memorial Hospital has decided to end its four-year relationship with an outside management company.
The hospital's board of directors voted Tuesday not to renew a contract with Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health Resources LLC. The board also fired President and Chief Executive Officer Cornelia R. Catena, who joined Amsterdam Memorial in 1996 and became a Quorum employee when the hospital signed the management contract in 1997.
