Founder-Owner to Sell St. Louis' Dominant Home Realtor.

Sep. 7--Gundaker Realtors, the independent home seller that dominates the real-estate market in St. Louis, is poised to be sold to a national real estate giant that operates locally as Coldwell Banker, founder-owner Gordon Gundaker confirmed Wednesday.
Gundaker Realtors and the bidder, NRT Inc. of Parsippany, N.J., have agreed on a price for the company but have yet to sign a contract, Gundaker, 67, said in a telephone interview Wednesday night.
Gundaker said he and NRT are still negotiating. "In the first part of next week, we will know if we have a deal or not," he said.
