Utah Financial Firms Establish Accounts for New York Disaster Relief.

Sep. 13--Banks and financial institutions across the nation and in Utah have responded to Tuesday's terrorist attack in New York by establishing donation accounts for disaster relief.

Many have coordinated donations and distribution of funds through the American Red Cross.

"We have been made strong by the generosity of countless people, and are grateful for the outpouring of support from people moved by this event," said Susan Sheehan, CEO of the American Red Cross Greater Salt Lake Area Chapter.

Bank of Utah sent e-mails to its employees identifying the appropriate sites to donate blood and supplies to the Red Cross. Zions Bank is accepting...
