Budget Car Rental Remains Confident with Thailand Forecasts.

Sep. 14--Acknowledging that terrorist attacks on the United States have affected its business from overseas, the US car rental company Budget is sticking to its earlier projection that its business in Thailand will grow by 50 percent to 300 million baht this year.
One day after the attacks, there were virtually no reservations for car rentals from overseas operators, which was very unusual, said Allan Davidson, general manager of Budget Car and Truck Rental in Thailand.
"On the worst days, we still get at least a dozen orders for car rentals from our tour operators overseas," he said.
