Guard at Boston Airport Fired over Security Breach.

Oct. 3--The most embarrassing post-Sept. 11 security breach at Logan Airport occurred because an elderly security guard decided to "stretch his legs," leaving his post and a large section of Terminal B completely unguarded, airport and law enforcement officials said yesterday.
At least three Boston-to-Pittsburgh passengers were able to walk from the curb to US Airways Gate B-20 without passing through a metal detector or being challenged by security of any kind, according to a State Police report on the Saturday morning incident.
