Collinsville, Mo., Lincoln-Mercury Dealership to Expand.

Oct. 12--Premier Lincoln-Mercury in Collinsville said Thursday that it has bought the Lincoln-Mercury sales territory owned by the Auffenberg dealership in Belleville and that it would build a new dealership along Interstate 64.
The sale leaves Auffenberg with only Fords at its dealership in downtown Belleville. But owner Jamie Auffenberg said he would announce the addition of an import line in a few days.
Premier co-owner Butch Peterson of Edwardsville declined to disclose the purchase price of the territory from Lincoln-Mercury, which withdrew it from Auffenberg. The area includes most of St. Clair County, he said.
