Oct. 29--Norfolk State University has its sights set beyond Norfolk -- and the state.
And it's letting the Internet do some of the scanning.
The university plunked down $30,000 in the past year to be prominently featured in CollegeView.com, a recently re-launched Web listing for higher learning.
That's one-fifth of the $150,000 NSU spends on overall recruiting efforts.
