Enron Ripples Include Job Loss for 4,000 Workers, Dynegy Counterpunch.

Dec. 4--Reverberations from Enron Corp.'s record bankruptcy filing rippled far and wide Monday as the company cut 4,000 employees, arranged interim financing and was hit with a legal counterpunch by a former suitor.
At the same time, the Public Utility Commission delayed a key decision on electricity deregulation -- already more than a month late -- by a few more days.
Industry experts expect the financial failure of the energy trader to be a hot topic at a joint meeting between the PUC and key legislators Wednesday.
