Dec. 10--WASHINGTON-- BUSH REVELS IN VICTORIES ON TRADE: The Bush administration has won two major global trade victories in the last month that were little noticed because of the more gripping tales of victory in Afghanistan.
The World Trade Organization launched a new round of negotiations to liberalize global trade, including talks aiming to eliminate subsidies for farm trade.
And on Thursday, President Bush arm-twisted his way to a House victory in a showdown over presidential leeway in negotiating trade deals.
