Transfer of Thai Electricity Generating Unit Put Off Again.

Dec. 19--The transfer of a generating unit at the Ratchaburi power plant will be delayed until November next year as the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (Egat) said performance tests could not be completed by April.

The transfers of two other units, already delayed twice, would also be postponed until a date yet to be determined, Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Plc said yesterday. All three units in question are combined cycle gas turbine blocks.

Egat cited incomplete performance tests as the reason for delaying transfers of the two units beyond December. Earlier deadlines of October and August were missed for the same reason....
