Boston Megaproject Contractor Expected to Admit Illegal Dumping.

Dec. 20--A company that is charged with illegally dumping Big Dig debris, including hazardous waste, is expected to plead guilty in Middlesex Superior Court today and be fined almost $1.5 million.

MRP Site Development of Lynn, also known as MRP Testa, was the subject of two 20-count indictments brought by Attorney General Thomas F. Reilly for allegedly carrying construction debris from the Central Artery/Ted Williams Tunnel project to sites not authorized by the state Department of Environmental Protection.
