Ford Broadcasts Restructuring Plan on St. Paul, Minn.-Area Channel 45.

Jan. 11--Ford Motor Co.'s unveiling of a restructuring plan that could cost thousands of jobs nationwide will be aired live at 8:15 this morning on KSTC Channel 45.
Ford is a major employer in St. Paul, with about 2,000 workers at its sprawling Highland Park plant, one of two nationwide that produce the Ranger pickup truck. The St. Paul plant is widely expected to be spared from downsizing.
Channel 45 will air Ford's restructuring news conference "as long as its relevant to the region," said Susan Anderson, the station's general manager.
