NBA Chief Says Orlando, Fla., Team Will Stay Put.

Jan. 15--NBA Commissioner David Stern said Monday that he has no intention of letting the next owner of the Orlando Magic play anywhere but in Orlando.
Stopping short of a "guarantee," Stern said he was well-stocked with prospective buyers whom he will steer toward Magic owner Rich DeVos, who put the franchise up for sale last week.
"I'm very confident that we'll find a buyer, an investor, who wants to be involved with the team because it's in Orlando," Stern said Monday afternoon from his office in New York. "There will be many investors seeking to become involved in its present location -- not somewhere else."
