Boeing, Intelsat to Launch Satellite.

Jan. 17--SEAL BEACH -- Boeing Launch Services has reached an agreement with Intelsat LLC to launch a communications satellite in 2003.
The Intelsat X spacecraft is the latest in a stable of communications satellites from Intelsat and designed by Astrium, Europe's leading space company.
Intelsat's satellites provide wholesale Internet, broadcast, telephony and corporate network communications systems to service providers in more than 200 countries.
The satellite will be rocketed into space from a mobile ocean-based pad positioned on the equator and operated by Long Beach-based Sea Launch.
