Atlanta Gas Light Seeks Agreement with Public Service Commission on Rates.

Jan. 29--Atlanta Gas Light Co. wants to reach a settlement with the Public Service Commission over its rates, top executives said Monday.

"We hope the commission would see its way to try and get to a fair resolution," said Paula Rosput, chief executive of AGL Resources, parent of the utility.

Rosput made the comments as Atlanta Gas Light filed written testimony with the PSC to support its case for a $50.3 million rate increase.
