Coldwell Banker, Atlanta-Based Northside Realty to Merge.

Jan. 30--Northside Realty, a household name in Atlanta for nearly half a century, will be no more with the merger announced Tuesday of two of the city's largest residential real estate companies.
Coldwell Banker/Buckhead Brokers and Northside Realty will combine operations under the leadership of Coldwell Banker President and Chief Operating Officer James M. Schmidt. Charlotte Sears, formerly general sales manager with Northside Realty, joins Coldwell Banker's Barbara Gordon as executive vice president.
The company will operate under the name Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Officials did not reveal the financial details of the deal.
