Enron Workers Seek Go-Ahead for Class-Action Suit.

Jan. 30--Attorneys representing Enron employees who lost money in the company's 401(k) plan have asked a judge to let their class-action suit proceed even though Enron is tied up in bankruptcy court.
Robin L. Harrison, a Houston attorney representing plan participants, filed a motion to lift the automatic stay filed in a New York bankruptcy court, where Enron's fate will be determined.
A hearing has been set for Feb. 20 on the matter.
"In our case, discovery will be very important so we want to try to get the automatic stay lifted so we can proceed with discovery as well as our claims against the company," said Harrison.
