Ford Sued by Florida Family over Fatal SUV Crash.

Feb. 6--The family of a young girl orphaned in a car accident last year sued Ford Motor Co. Tuesday, claiming that the family's Explorer was defective. On April 14, 5-year-old Tiffany Tedford's parents and paternal grandparents were killed when their Explorer rolled off an Interstate 4 overpass and plummeted 25 feet onto Sand Lake Road.

Tiffany's parents, Terry Tedford Jr., 28, and Marsha Tedford, 28, of Altoona were killed instantly. Her grandparents, Terry Tedford Sr., 49, and Sandra Tedford, 46, of Eustis also died at the scene. Tiffany, who was the only one wearing a seat belt, was the sole survivor.
