American Advertising Group Sees Thai Team as Role Model for Region.

Feb. 7--American advertising group J Walter Thompson will use the creative success achieved by its Bangkok office as a role model for its other Southeast Asian units.
"This will be my primary role and responsibility -- taking the JWT Bangkok blueprint and roll it around the region," said Mark Webster, who was recently appointed chairman and chief executive for Thailand and Southeast Asia.
The concept of some advertisements created by the firm's Bangkok office, such as "Double A" paper, has been localised and applied in Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore.
