Feb. 8--WASHINGTON -- Citing further signs of Enron Corp. connections to the Bush administration, a House Democrat asked the White House on Thursday to produce a list of presidential appointees and spouses who have worked for the Houston-based company.

Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., expressed concern about the number of Enron executives, lawyers and consultants who landed jobs or helped others get appointed to posts in the Republican administration.

In a letter to Clay Johnson, who heads the White House personnel office, Waxman said a list of administration employees with ties to Enron will help lawmakers "learn more about how Enron tried to influence both the political process and public...
