RadioShack Stores Will Offer Dish Network Satellite Service alongside DirecTV.

Feb. 20--RadioShack Corp. wants to be cable television's biggest competitor by selling EchoStar Communications Corp.'s Dish Network in its stores alongside DirecTV.
Dish Network is the second-largest U.S. satellite-television service behind DirecTV, though EchoStar is attempting to acquire DirecTV parent Hughes Electronics Corp.
"We sell the most TV antennas, and these satellite dishes are just round antennas. We're going to demystify this technology for consumers," said Dave Edmondson, RadioShack's president and chief operating officer.
