Lawsuit Seeks Second NASCAR Race at Fort Worth, Texas, Speedway.

Feb. 21--FORT WORTH, Texas--A minority shareholder of the company that owns Texas Motor Speedway has sued NASCAR, saying the stock car sanctioning body has breached a contract by refusing to grant the Fort Worth racetrack a second Winston Cup Series race.
The lawsuit, filed Feb. 13 by Plano resident Francis Ferko, claims the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing violated the Sherman Antitrust Act by maintaining a "monopoly power" that prevents TMS from hosting another Winston Cup race or a "NASCAR-format stock car race."
