Traders React to Rumor of Restructuring at British Pay-TV Service ITV Digital.

Feb. 26--Nosey punters switched on to late gossip that the long-awaited restructuring is imminent at ITV Digital, the loss-making pay-TV service, whose success so far has been limited to popularising a woollen monkey.
Joint owners Carlton Communications jumped 12 pence to 200 3/4 pence and Granada 6 1/4 pence to 109 1/4 pence on hopes that the two were about to plug the digital drain that has already cost them well in excess of UKpound 800 million.
Earlier this month, ITV Digital revealed it had added only a net 46,000, or 4 percent, subscribers in the final quarter of 2001, taking its total to
