Mar. 2--Arrow International Inc., Bern Township, on Friday announced an agreement to sell its implantable drug infusion pump business, with closing of the deal expected in April.
However, the company would not divulge such significant details as the identity of the buyer, the price to be paid, or whether the sale of the business would affect its work force in Berks County.
It said it would have no further comment until settlement takes place next month.
In a press release, Arrow said that although the pump business is promising, its growth would require significant investments in marketing and research in order to make a meaningful contribution to future revenues.
