Arizona Studies Options for Redesigning Mariposa Port of Entry in Nogales.

Mar. 1--How would the Mariposa Port of Entry in Nogales, Ariz., function if Arizona had every resource at its disposal to make it a more efficient commercial border crossing?
That's what the University of Arizona Office of Economic Development hopes to discover through a study that will conceptually redesign the port.
"This is not going to tell you what turning radius a truck will need to make the port more efficient," said Scott G. Davis, senior program coordinator at the UA Office of Economic Development.
The nature of the study, Davis says, means researchers aren't bound by the way things currently look on the ground.
