Las Vegas-Based Direct Mail Company Thrives with Digital Printing.

Mar. 7--A Las Vegas company that started in the direct-mail business four years ago has evolved into one-to-one marketing using the latest in digital printing technology.
EMS Direct, founded by local entrepreneurs Anthony Knight and Dalen Lawrence, grew from a "garage" operation to a company with $9 million in annual revenue before it merged last year with ZIP Direct of San Diego.
The parent company is now called E-data Print, and has offices at 6700 Paradise Road.
ZIP Direct still occupies 15,000 square feet of warehouse space nearby at 1111 Grier Ave., employing about 60 people to process an estimated 7 million pieces of mail each month.
