Move to Washington, D.C., Puts AT&T Latin America Closer to AT&T Corp.

Mar. 17--AT&T Latin America's move to Washington, D.C., has nothing to do with South Florida and everything to do with AT&T Corp.

The recent announcement that the company would move its headquarters from Coral Gables to the nation's capital by the third quarter left many folks scratching their heads. It didn't make sense that it would be moving north, when AT&T Latin America serves clients in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru, providing broadband communications services.
