Orange County, Fla., Neighborhood Objects to Time Warner's Facility Expansion.

Mar. 21--At first it was just a little tower poking above the trees of this cul-de-sac community. That was in 1971. Then came the 1,200-square-foot equipment building, in 1985.

When Time Warner Communications started cutting trees last year and the construction trucks started rumbling by, residents of this quiet Orange County neighborhood near Winter Park got worried.

"This is going to be a huge commercial enterprise in an old, established residential neighborhood," said Bob Waterfield, who has lived on nearby Oakhurst Avenue for 42 years.
