Medina, Ohio, Company Sees Stock Plunge Due to Financial Woes.

Mar. 23--For investors of a Medina company, it was deja vu all over again.

The stock of Corrpro Companies Inc. (AMEX:CO), a maker of corrosion control systems, plunged 56 percent in one day this week on news that the company uncovered some financial shenanigans inside its walls -- once again.

Investors as a group lost nearly $11 million from the opening bell to closing on Thursday.

The announcement and stock dive was reminiscent of 1995 when news of accounting irregularities at the company sent Corrpro stock plunging from $18 to $9.50 in a single day, leaving investors $57.2 million poorer.

Corrpro didn't have that far to fall this time...
